# Fixtures 2.0 (Machines)

Fixtures in their current state or a good abstraction for output devices. Not so much for inputs or seamlessly combining the two.

This concept tries to explore how Fixtures could be reworked to do just that and combine in one place I\&O devices such as:

* MIDI Controllers and Keyboards with RGB backlighting
* Gamepads with rumble
* Robotic Hands

## Messaging

It should be possible to create messaging links to other machines and thus create inter-machine communication.

* Recipients based on
  * Unique ID
  * Groups
  * Name filters
  * Other
